DSMS Celebrates MLK

Martin Luther King, Jr. had a vision for America. His dream was that all people would have equal rights and receive equal treatment –that all people would have a voice in their communities and in their country. We are asking, “Has the dream been realized?” Sharing ideas as a community is one way of reaching Dr. King’s dream. This blog is our opportunity to share our thoughts and to have a voice.

Men of the Year-Time Magazine

Martin Luther King was named Man of the Year in 1963 and Barack Obama in 2008!

Who would have thought that the two men we are celebrating in the year 2009 at DSMS as we wonder "has the the dream has been realized" . . . would have been chosen as "Man of the Year".
